Saveur - a French restaurant set up by Mr. Dylan Ong, Mr. Joshua Khoo and another business partner with the aim to offer quality yet affordable French cuisine to the masses. After the successful outlet of Savour in Purvis Street and Far East Plaza, these two young entrepreneurs just can't keep still and decided to set up a Italian sibbling for Saveur, thus Concetto was born.

Little Devil ('LD') and I have tried Saveur, for the price we actually find it quite good. So when the opportunity arises, we decided to tried Concetto. Unlike Saveur that always packed with crowd, we manage to get a seat in Concetto on a Saturday afternoon without any problem.

Oven & Fried Chicken

Oven & Fried Chicken ('OFC') is a Korean joint that serve not only the famous KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) but also Roasted / Oven Baked Chicken. OFC brought in Okkudak and Ssal Dak from Korea. Okkudak are famous for its oven baked chicken, while Ssal Dak is popular for its fried chicken.

While this will be the first time, I try Korean Oven Baked Chicken, I can't say the same about the Korean Fried Chicken. The most popular companion for KFC are Beer. So we are not surprise the Hoegarden Beer Tower was part of the tasting session. Be warned, if you find the name of the dish are grammatically wrong, it is based on the name on the menu. This is to tell you it is Authentic Korean :)

Wow, times really fly. I still remember my first visit to Todai in October 2011. I remember three things clearly from that day, Fried Ginseng, lots of creative sushi and unique plastic face mask wore by the kitchen staff there. The review are still up in HungryGoWhere website, click here!!

I have heard about the reputation of W Singapore through social media and other bloggers posting. So when there was for SPG member promotion (Starwood Preferred Guest) popped up on my FB page, there was no reason to delay our food adventure there. Food from The Heart Buffet 1 for 1* promo valid from Monday to Thursday dinner at $65++ per pax. Offer ends 31 March 2015.

The Drink Bar

Distance to W Singapore might be a turn-off for people who are not driving. Located at one end of Sentosa Cove, it take about a good 5 mins plus drive in from the Sentosa gantry. While driving towards the destination, we have to watch out for the multiple speed cameras. As I'm not familiar with the area, I drove like a turtle here, 40 km / hour. Meanwhile the Lamborghini and Ferrari who stays in the cove, zooming pass like nobody business. Gosh!!

[CLOSED] GGB Bistro Bar & Cafe (Go-Go Bambini)

GGB Bistro Bar & Cafe ('GGB'), is the F&B establishment owned by the same shareholder of Go Go Bambini. The idea is to provide a place for parents to relax while the kids having their activities in the kids playground next door and for children Birthday parties. 

We actually find this place by accident. Looking for something different for lunch, we found this quiet cafe in the middle of Dempsey. From the parking lot, you will not notice that it has any relations with the Go Go Bambini, until you step into the indoor dining area. From here you can see the connecting door to the indoor playground. Even if you need to use the restroom, you need to go through indoor playground section.

O'nya Sayang @ Paya Lebar Square

O'nya Sayang at Paya Lebar Square is the second sister restaurant from the Dulukala Peranakan Restaurant that made its name in Beauty World Centre Bukit Timah. While Dulukala Peranakan Restaurant is a family business that cooked all its food in its property, O'nya Sayang provide a more modern bistro casual dining atmosphere. This outlet, in the newly open Paya Lebar square is the second branch after the Tampines Mall outlet.

O'nya Sayang is founded and helmed by Executive Chef Zhan Ho, a third generation Peranakan Chef. He basically grew up in the kitchen and learned how to cooked authentic Peranakan cuisine from his mother. Due to certain constrains in operation, O'nya Sayang incorporate modern F&B method such as central kitchen to control the quality and the consistency of its dishes. In line with the current trend, he also created new dishes using traditional ingredients.
