Our dining experience journey at Grand Copthorne Waterfront ('GCW') continue with their Borderless Brunch. This brunch concept combine three distinct food concepts by GCW to offer one of the most anticipated Brunch experience. Every Sunday, Food Capital + Tempo + Grissini come together to present to you Grand Copthorne Waterfront Borderless Brunch.

Before you are seated, each of you will be given a Passport. Well it is basically just a mini map so you don't get lost in your quest for good food. The gastronomic delights will start from 12.30 PM and you basically have 3 hours to sample the best food on offer.

|Mango Panna Cotta
Foie Gras served on brioche. We totally loved foie gras, so we went directly for it. You can have the foie gras with fig jam or raspberry compote. The mini serving size is just perfect to whet your appetite.
Whole Tandoori Lamb. This is a sight to behold here. The size itself will give you the wow factor. The lamb is well-seasoned, with minimum gamy taste. Although the meat itself is almost absent of fats, it still remain succulent.

Oyster & Seafood. Lobster, Oysters, Crabs & Prawns. All the seafood here are fresh, filled with the natural sweetness from the sea. Yum Yum, Delicious!!

Ibrico De Belotta Ham with rock melon. One of our old time favourite and not to be miss here. The combination of silky and salty preserved meat with sweet rock melon is something that we won't miss. We also manage to dig into the mini burrata with heirloom tomato, which was just delightful.

Grissini with sundried tomato dip.
Pizza & Pasta. The pizza come with a thin layer of crust, topped with generous serving of mozzarella cheese and other toppings. The flavour will be on rotating basis, but be assured all will definitely be good.

Premium meats and seafood from Josper oven-grill. The lamb cutlet is definitely to die for. Smoky, juicy and melts in your mouth. Let just say one piece won't be enough. The cut of the beef was slightly thin. Though it was tender, I find it better if the cut is thicker.

Meanwhile the jumbo size prawns and grilled octopus are not to be missed. The prawn is huge, slightly springy with a nice touch of smokiness from the grill. Meanwhile the grilled octopus tentacles will make you come back for more.

From the local flavour section, the Laksa is worth the space in your tummy. Best part, they even served it with cockles, maintaining the traditional way of serving a good bowl of laksa. There are some local favourites such as chilli crabs, black pepper crayfish and other local dishes, unfortunately we did not manage to try them.

Finally, we reach the desserts section. You will be spoilt for choice here. The crème brulee, apple crumble, chocolate pudding and mini shot desserts definitely get my thumbs up. Not to mention the ice cream. Although not as unique as the one in served in Grissini, this version served here is more towards traditional flavours.

Of course Sunday Brunch will not be complete without the Alcohol, cocktails, wine and other drinks. This selections are available at Tempo. On top of the free flow of Perrier-Jouet Grand Brut Champagne, you can look forward to the creative cocktail invention by the Tempo's bartender.

|Cocktail of the week
The décor of this place is modern and filled with natural lights. The seating is spacious and strategically placed for the convenient of the diners to get to the buffet areas. Though I won't rate the service, but it is worth mentioning. Friendly, attentive and make the diners feel at home. Definitely top notch. During the brunch, there is a kids corner available and also balloon artist to entertain everyone.

Overall, as the New Dining Destination for Sunday Brunch, GCW definitely a destination to be consider. The selection of food is just outstanding and the whole dining experience is just memorable. Cheers!!
